Job summary

Woodward Inc. maintains production facilities in the industrial and aerospace sectors. The Maintenance Engineer will ensure continuous operation, implement preventive maintenance, and resolve complex issues across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and automation domains.

The role requires an engineering degree and at least 3 years in a similar position, with fluency in English and Polish. You will engage with cross-functional teams, manage investments, and drive best practices in maintenance.

Qualifications

• Engineer degree in Automation, Electronics or Mechanics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production plant.
• Experience in maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and automation.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the technical condition of production machines, tools and infrastructure.
• Implement preventive maintenance plans for new machines per standards.
• Identify and solve complex issues on lines in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and automation.
• Engage with internal and external specialists for service delivery.
• Participate in industrial projects and ensure timelines and standards.

Job description

Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of production machines and equipment at a production facility operating in the industrial and aerospace sectors. The role is responsible for creating, implementing and continuously improving a prevention maintenance plan, responding to technical problems, analyzing their causes and resolving them.

What You Will Do:

• Supervision of the technical condition of production machines, tools, equipment and infrastructure.
• Implementing preventive plans for new machines, in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Identify, analyze and solve complex technical problems on production lines in the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and automation, implementing necessary technical improvements to eliminate problems.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external specialists, to provide professional service.
• Participate in industrial projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project timelines.
• Provide expert guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, fostering professional development and enhancing team expertise.
• Implement Best Practices: Establish and maintain industry best practices within engineering processes to ensure efficiency and competitive advantage.

What You Will Need:

• Education: Engineer Degree, preferably in Automation/Electronics/Mechanics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position in production plant.
• Experience in technical machine maintenance in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and automation fields.
• Siemens, Allen Bradley, B&R PLC programming.
• Fanuc and Universal Robots environment knowledge .
• Autonomous in solving complex machine and installations problems in the production environment, open to sharing knowledge with other team members.
• Ability to read and create technical documentation, electrical, hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience in managing investment projects.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Electrical licenses up to 15 kV.
• Driving license category B.
