Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an M&A Associate to support deal origination and execution for a growing renewable energy business in Poland. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with developers and advisors, and drive transactions from screening through closing, with significant ownership across the transaction lifecycle.

We value strong financial modelling, advanced Excel, and hands-on due diligence coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of M&A experience in investment banking, financial advisory, boutique, fund, or renewable energy developer/IPP.
• Proactive, commercially minded with ability to identify and originate opportunities.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Hands-on experience coordinating due diligence processes.
• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy markets is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Based in Warsaw and comfortable working on-site.

TGRC is working with a growing renewable energy business developing utility-scale projects across Poland and the wider CEE region.

The business is building a significant pipeline across wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage, alongside pursuing strategic M&A opportunities across the region. We’re looking for an M&A Associate to support both deal origination and execution, with the opportunity to take significant ownership across the transaction lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Identify and originate new M&A opportunities across renewable energy and energy infrastructure
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, landowners, advisors, and other market participants
• Drive transactions from initial screening and structuring through due diligence, negotiation, and closing
• Prepare teasers, term sheets, and information memoranda for buy-side and sell-side processes
• Build and manage financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and support transaction decisions
• Coordinate legal, technical, commercial, and financial due diligence
• Work closely with senior leadership on negotiation strategy and transaction documentation, including term sheets, SPAs, and shareholder agreements
• Manage relationships with external legal, technical, and financial advisors

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of M&A experience gained within investment banking, financial advisory, an M&A boutique, investment fund, or renewable energy developer/IPP
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to identify and originate new opportunities
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Hands-on experience coordinating due diligence processes
• Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy markets is highly desirable
