Job summary

SONOCO CANADA in Poland is seeking a Logistics Senior Sourcing Specialist to drive European sourcing initiatives across Poland, Germany and Belgium. You will define strategies for logistic categories, negotiate with suppliers, and build strong partnerships to secure capacity and cost savings.

You will work with operations and commercial teams to ensure on-time delivery, compliant processes, and clear performance metrics, while leveraging ERP systems and data analytics to inform decisions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Procurement/Sourcing, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Data-driven with excellent analytical abilities.
• Ability to travel ~25%.
• Fluent in English and Polish; German or French is a plus.
• ERP knowledge (Oracle, JDE, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Define and support the execution of Sourcing strategies for logistic categories.
• Identify and lead sourcing projects including RFPs, negotiations and contracts.
• Develop supplier partnerships and secure capacity.
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed SLAs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cost savings and value.

Then come and be part of our Indirect Sourcing team.Our Company’s Sourcing Division aims to find and establish suppliers that meet organisation needs, quality, service and commercial requirements, at the lowest overall cost.In the context of the Sourcing organisation enhancement and development, we are looking for a new purchasing manager to support our development.Primary responsibilities will be around logistic categories (inc. transportation, warehousing, forklifts,…) in Poland, Germany and Belgium.
