Job summary

Citi Poland is seeking a Loan Operations professional to join the Warsaw team, supporting syndicated and bilateral loans across UK/E/MEA regions. You will process transactions, prepare reports, and help maintain accuracy across the lifecycle of loans.

The role requires 0-2 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and English fluency. Citi offers a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of Syndicated Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong analytical skills and good attention to details.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, with a strong focus on MS Excel (macros and VBA will be a huge advantage).
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and elevate risks and issues.
• Awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes.
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.

• Contribute in syndicated and bilateral loaning process.
• Identify and report on vulnerabilities and risks in the process.
• Clarify and resolve discrepancies between the data.
• Involves in providing day-to-day loan transactional processing which may include booking cash transactions and making payments, performing loan reconciliations, input of general ledger entries and (complex) calculations.
• Possible interaction with other counter parties around positions and outstanding balances/claims.
• Supports an expansive and/or diverse array of products (risk and control)/services.

Team/Role Overview:

The Loan Operations Team provide operational support for multiple Clients and business sectors across the UK/E/MEA region providing Loan Administration services for both syndicated and bilateral deals originated and captured within the region.
