Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Dimetra Platform Engineer in Kraków who designs, develops and tests Linux-based platform solutions. You will perform manual integration testing, contribute to automation, and maintain platform hardware while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

The role relies on strong Linux, Bash and Python skills, plus understanding of networking, Git/Jira/Jenkins and Scrum. Two days on-site in Kraków, with a dynamic, safety-focused tech culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Linux systems development or maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including KVM virtualization.
• Good knowledge of Bash.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• At least basic knowledge of networking protocols and features TCP/IP, routing, switching.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• English language skills at a level that enables effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test platform solutions for Dimetra Linux-based environments.
• Perform manual integration level testing and contribute to test automation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot platform hardware and configurations.
• Work within Scrum and Agile best practices for day-to-day tasks.
