Valeo is seeking a dynamic Team Leader to manage a 5-person unit including MDL and MA, driving development of eMotors for electric vehicles. You will ensure expert competency, roll out modern standards, and audit practices (RAISE) while continually improving work methods in a multinational R&D setting.

You will plan qualifications, allocate resources, support career development, and manage the team budget to meet ambitious efficiency and project goals. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Higher technical degree in engineering.
• Strong English communication in a multinational environment.
• Experience managing engineering projects or small technical teams.
• Understanding of management tools and processes (budget tracking, resource allocation).
• Familiarity with development planning standards and engineering work organization.

Responsabilités

• Lead a 5-person team including MDL and MA.
• Collaborate with R&D centers in Germany and France on projects.
• Plan qualifications and training programs with management.
• Delegate tasks and allocate team members to eMotor development projects.
• Support career development and propose targeted trainings.
• Propose team budgets and monitor execution.
• Ensure achievement of Team Efficiency Plan goals.
• Implement engineering processes and 5 axes methodology.
• Contribute to defining processes and tools for project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement of mechanical design standards for eMotors.
