Job summary

CCMS & Associates is seeking licensed 1099 Catastrophe Desk Adjusters to join our active roster in Florida.

We require residential and/or commercial desk adjusters with at least 1 year of first-party property adjusting experience and a Florida license. You must have a reliable computer and internet, excellent communication, and the ability to read insurance policies. Join us to support catastrophe response efforts for policyholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of first-party residential and/or commercial property adjusting experience.
• Experience with Xactimate and/or Cotality.
• Active Florida adjuster license and self-appointment.
• Working computer with reliable internet access.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience reading insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle Florida property insurance claims.
• Obtain recorded statements.
• Recommend reserves through well-supported reports.
• Maintain compliance while managing an active claim caseload.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements.
• Identify potential coverage issues.
• Produce well-documented reports for clients.
