A creative game development studio is seeking a Level Designer to shape open world locations for their anticipated game. This remote position involves taking ownership of level design from concept to implementation using Unreal Engine 5, ensuring engaging and playable environments. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in level design, a strong grasp of visual storytelling, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a small team. Creative freedom and a flexible working schedule are key features of this role.
Techtive Games is looking for a creative and driven Level Designer to join our team and help shape the world of our open world survival debut game Ardem, as we move into full production.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building complete Points of Interest from concept to final, playable state. You will work directly in Unreal Engine 5, using existing assets and tools, and collaborate closely with our Level Design Lead to create believable, atmospheric, and readable spaces that support exploration and environmental storytelling.
Techtive Games is an ambitious indie studio based in Germany with a close knit team that focuses on building deep, interconnected gameplay systems and immersive, authentic worlds.
