Aldwych Consulting is recruiting a Principal Transport Planner to lead complex development-related transport projects in London with hybrid working. You will own technical delivery, mentor staff and support business growth while liaising with clients and authorities.

The role offers £50,000 - £60,000 with excellent benefits, private healthcare, pension contributions and discretionary bonus. You will work on high-profile projects and progress within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Access Appraisals.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning, modelling and development proposals.
• Experience using TRICS, TEMPRO, Junctions, LinSig or similar software.
• Good understanding of MfS, DMRB and LTN 1/20.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex development-related transport projects.
• Preparing and reviewing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Access Appraisals.
• Developing transport strategies and scenario testing.
• Providing technical guidance across transport planning and modelling.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Mentoring and developing junior and senior team members.
• Supporting business development and bids.
