Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Shop Supervisor for the Elk Point, SD facility on the 2nd shift. You will oversee daily production activities, coordinate with management and other departments, and help meet budget and safety targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and experience in manufacturing or a related field, with strong leadership and coordination skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the General Manager to establish and meet production goals (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure production goals are met.
• Discuss departmental issues with the Human Resources Manager, including compliance, risk, performance, and labor related matters.
• Work with team members to establish stock parts inventory standards, ensuring timely repairs and adherence to budget goals.
• Ensure safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Complete manufacturing orders promptly to avoid production delays.
• Ensure accurate M3 time transactions to measure labor costs.
• Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure parts and weldments meet specifications.
• Assist team members in daily tasks to meet production and budget goals.
