Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp is seeking an Expert Security Penetration Tester to join our Cyber Security group, focusing on tests across critical banking systems, applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. The role can be based in Gdańsk or Warsaw, with a hybrid working model.

You will lead tests, perform in-depth assessments, and present findings to diverse stakeholders while contributing to the testing approach, tooling, and team knowledge in a large Nordic bank environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in penetration testing and red teaming.
• Experience with security testing across web, API, infrastructure and cloud.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead penetration tests of web apps, APIs, infrastructure and cloud solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, exploit validation and reviews with a risk-based mindset.
• Prepare high-quality security testing reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support development of testing methods, tools and team knowledge.
