Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking an Expert IT Security Specialist to lead Red Teaming initiatives within the Offensive Testing team of Cyber Security. The role requires hands-on experience in red and purple team exercises, exploitation tooling, and reporting to drive secure transformation.

You will collaborate with Blue Team and stakeholders to map attack paths, conduct war games, and map to regulatory frameworks like TIBER and CBEST.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in Red and Purple Team exercises.
• Hands-on experience with Command and Control tools and exploit development.
• Experience in regulatory based Red Teaming (e.g. TIBER, CBEST, iCAST, FEER, AASE).
• Working knowledge of MITRE’s ATT&CK framework.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Red Team exercises (TLPT and TIBER) including prep, execution and reporting.
• Oversee external vendors for offensive security exercises.
• Cooperate with Blue Team and stakeholders during Purple Teaming engagements.
• Prepare, execute and report offensive security projects like Security Control Testing, War Gaming, Attack Path Mapping.
• Be a subject matter expert in the Offensive Security area.
