Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Python Developer to join a lean, self-governing team building a scalable, high-performance platform used by external customers.

You will work closely with stakeholders in the USA, EU, and India, communicating daily to collect business needs and deliver a ready product from idea to deployment. You will contribute to a trust-based engineering culture, apply cloud technologies and microservices, and lead development with limited supervision in an agile

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and integrating with 3rd party software through full lifecycle.
• Expertise in Python.
• Understanding of application security.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong self-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in an agile environment without direct supervision.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, system integration, and development methodologies, including unit testing.
• Excellent English communication skills and client-facing experience.
