Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Lead Procurement Engineer in Kraków, Poland. The role leads procurement execution from pre-PO to delivery, directing a small team and ensuring on-time performance, with travel up to 20% and a hybrid work model (2 days in office).

Responsibilities cover technical and regulatory integration (ASME, NQA-1), supplier management, and cost/value optimization across cross-functional interfaces with Engineering, Quality, Commercial, and SPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Nuclear preferred) or Supply Chain.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, engineering, or project execution within a regulated/industrial environment.
• Nuclear industry experience (ASME Section III, NQA-1).
• Experience with large-scale EPC or capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing global suppliers and complex contracts.
• Experience with nuclear procurement requirements, quality standards, and supplier manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex, global supply chains with high execution risk.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Familiarity with SAP, PowerBI, Sharepoint

The Lead Procurement Engineer provides execution leadership for complex procurement scopes while delivering daily oversight of a small team. This role is accountable for predictable supplier delivery across cost, schedule, quality, and technical requirements. Operating under Manager guidance, the Lead coordinates team execution, drives prioritization, and ensures agreement to program delivery goals. You will report to Senior Manager based in the US.

The position will require travel up to 20%. You will work in hybrid model with 2 days at office.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17,000 to 21,250 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
