Job summary

EXANTE is a global wealth‑tech company seeking a senior trader to build, run and develop the principal trading book across asset classes. You will provide liquidity against client flow, manage inventory and hedge exposure to generate P&L with full accountability within the firm’s regulatory framework.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this remote role offers flexibility to work from home or office, with cross‑desk collaboration and a growth‑oriented culture in a fast‑moving environment

Qualifications

• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in principal trading, market making or running a multi-asset trading book.
• Strong background in multi-asset risk management (delta, gamma, vega, liquidity, counterparty risk).
• Hands-on familiarity with MiFID II, best-execution obligations and conflict-of-interest management.

Responsibilities

• Provide liquidity against client flow and internalise/aggregate exposures while managing inventory.
• Develop and apply trading strategies (market making, flow trading, relative-value) within approved risk limits.
• Identify, onboard and manage exchanges, prime brokers and OTC counterparties for hedging and inventory management.
• Design and operate risk framework, limits, monitoring and escalation for the trading book.
• Coordinate securities inventory, financing and revenue with Stock Lending and other desks to optimise outcomes.
• Collaborate with Options Trading and Fixed Income desks for a coherent principal book strategy.
• Work with Operations, Treasury and Technology on settlement and platform tooling.
