Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Production Manager in Skawina to lead a skilled team manufacturing stainless steel and titanium implants and surgical instruments. You will drive operational excellence in a regulated medical-device environment and contribute to a growing production organization focused on patient outcomes worldwide.

You will organize workforce plans, develop competencies, monitor KPIs, and lead Lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technical Studies, Manufacturing, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Working proficiency in Polish and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets in accordance with medical device regulations and company standards.
• Plan workforce availability and resource allocation to ensure production schedules are executed efficiently and on time.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop team members while establishing competency frameworks and career development pathways.
• Monitor and report key production performance indicators through routine team meetings and visual management systems.
• Oversee production operations, documentation control, measuring equipment management, and compliance with established procedures.
• Ensure effective in-process inspections and final product acceptance activities to maintain product quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and operational efficiency using Lean manufacturing principles.
• Develop departmental budgets and operational strategies while leading process optimization and long-term production growth initiatives.
