Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland seeks a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a global Risk & Compliance team. You will design, develop, and maintain modern applications with a strong backend focus in Java and Spring while contributing to frontend work using React and TypeScript.

You will guide technical decisions and ensure high-quality software delivery. You will design scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and mentor a technical team in an agile

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• 2+ years of technical team leadership experience.
• Expert knowledge of Java and Spring Framework (Boot, Data, REST, Security).
• Experience with microservices and micro-database architectures.
• Experience building event-driven systems and ReactJS/TypeScript.
• Proficiency with Swagger/OpenAPI and automated testing (JUnit).
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes, cloud-based apps, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to frontend with React and TypeScript.
• Prepare technical designs and solution documentation.
• Implement event-driven integrations and workflow solutions.
• Develop and support batch processing applications.
• Ensure reliability with logging, monitoring and error handling.
• Create and maintain automated tests.
• Containerize and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor teammates and perform code reviews.
