Job summary

Searchability® is seeking a Principal React Engineer in Poland to lead advanced React engineering activities while maintaining hands-on credibility. The role combines technical excellence with people management and high-stakes client interactions within a modern financial technology context.

You will line-manage two to three team leads, shape how engineering capacity is deployed, and resolve delivery or client issues in collaboration with account management.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

You will be joining a major engineering programme for a global financial technology business modernising the infrastructure behind institutional trading and capital markets.

THE ROLE, PRINCIPAL REACT ENGINEER

This is more than a very strong React individual contributor role, but it is not a conventional Engineering Manager position either.

You need to remain technically credible with exceptional React engineers while taking responsibility for people, delivery and senior client relationships.

From a leadership perspective, you will line manage engineers, including around two to three team leads, help decide how engineering capability is deployed and become involved when difficult delivery or client issues need resolving.

You will also work closely with account management and carry genuine responsibility for the success of the engagement.

EMPLOYMENT

This is a permanent position under a Polish UoP contract.
