Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer (React) to deliver scalable, user‑focused web applications for the financial services and payments sector. Qualifications

• 5–10 years of software development experience, with substantial hands‑on expertise in React and modern front‑end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component‑based architecture.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and integrating front‑end apps with cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, state management, automated testing, Git, and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver responsive, high‑quality front‑end solutions using React and modern JavaScript technologies.
• Collaborate with the Agile Team to coordinate technical activities and deliver project outcomes.

The Role

At Capco, we're looking for an experienced Front-End Developer (React) to provide specialist development services for a project within the financial services and payments industry. You'll collaborate with the Team, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of modern web applications supporting business‑critical payment services. This engagement offers the opportunity to apply your React expertise, work with AWS cloud technologies, and deliver reliable, scalable, and user‑focused digital solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deliver responsive, high-quality front-end solutions using React and modern JavaScript technologies.
• Collaborate with the Agile Team, including developers, product owners, QA engineers, and other stakeholders, to coordinate technical activities and deliver agreed project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between front-end applications and APIs or services hosted within AWS cloud environments.
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and testable code, contributing to technical reviews and applying established engineering standards.
• Analyse and resolve technical challenges, optimise application performance, and contribute to improvements in usability, accessibility, and application quality.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 5-10 years of relevant software development experience, with substantial hands‑on expertise in React and modern front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and component-based application architecture.
• Practical experience working with AWS cloud services and integrating front-end applications with cloud-based solutions.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, state management, automated testing, version control (Git), and modern software development practices.
• Ability to deliver technical solutions independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams in Agile or Scrum project environments.

Bonus Points For

• Experience delivering technology solutions within financial services, payments, or transaction‑processing environments.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, or Lambda.
• Experience with front‑end testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards, front‑end security practices, and performance optimisation.

B2B cooperation in a hybrid model, with the option to provide services from the Warsaw office to the extent agreed based on project needs.
