Job summary

InPost UK is building its fintech platform from the ground up, with a lean, high‑impact engineering organization in Poland and AI‑driven development at its core. As Staff Software Engineer, frontend, you will define architecture across Payments Core, Merchant, or Consumer, author ADRs/RFCs, and drive frontend decisions, performance, and accessibility with cross‑team leadership.

The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the Warsaw or Cracow offices, and offers a diverse, international

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• 3+ years delivering fintech or payments products.
• Expert React and TypeScript skills at scale.
• Design-system and multi-team architecture experience.
• Micro-frontend patterns and client-side state management.
• Performance-focused engineering and accessibility by design.
• REST/GraphQL and async event contracts.
• Strong technical writing and ADR/RFC documentation.
• English proficiency at B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain frontend architecture across the area.
• Write ADRs and RFCs to document frontend decisions.
• Evaluate framework choices, tooling, SSR/CSR/ISR, and accessibility.
• Evolve the agentic frontend development harness with data.
• Drive cross-team technical changes and adoption.
• Mentor Staff-track engineers through reviews and coaching.
