Job summary

Baker Hughes in Poland is seeking a Lead Engineer, Mechanical, Product Design and Engineering to drive connection systems design and deliver robust engineering solutions.

You will mentor engineers, develop layouts, review drawings, perform design verifications, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to meet customer requirements. The role emphasizes using Teamcenter, Creo, AutoCAD and Ansys Workbench, with English communication and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, subsea, or related industries preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/API/ASME/NORSOK/DNV standards.
• Proficient with PLM/engineering tools (Teamcenter) and design software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance and reviews.
• Create, review, and approve layouts, drawings, procedures, and manuals.
• Interpret customer specs and translate into robust engineering solutions.
• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for Connection Systems products.
• Conduct design verification including tolerance, reliability, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manufacturing, suppliers, and partners.
• Support tendering activities, FAT, and customer-focused deliverables.
• Utilize Teamcenter, Creo, AutoCAD, and Ansys Workbench per standards.
