Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Lead Engineer to join the Innovation tribe within IT. You will lead design and implementation of innovative technical solutions for Euroclear's market infrastructure, mentor a team, and drive adoption of cloud and data opportunities while ensuring regulatory alignment.

You will oversee end-to-end lifecycle from concept to deployment and contribute to strategic roadmaps. The role requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, hands-on .NET and Azure cloud expertise,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, IT, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
Hands-on knowledge with .NET technology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Hands-on experience with Cloud, preferably Azure
Good knowledge of CI/CD, IaC and observability.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen ability to identify and mitigate technical risks.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative technical solutions within the Euroclear market infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and exploit new technological opportunities, particularly in data and cloud computing.
Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and strategic trends to enhance product and service offerings.
Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure the alignment of technical solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
Provide technical expertise and thought leadership in agile methodologies and software development practices.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure successful project delivery.
Continuously monitor industry trends and advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
Contribute to the development and execution of the Innovation tribe's strategic roadmap.
