Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of security-focused proof-of-concept and proof-of-value solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based microservices and security tooling.
• Drive engineering best practices across architecture, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Own code quality standards through code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance.
• Define and maintain testing strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Lead technical discussions and create clear technical specifications and architectural documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and remove delivery blockers for the team.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and cybersecurity stakeholders across multiple domains.
• Support CI/CD automation, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
• Contribute directly to the codebase while mentoring other engineers within the team.

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Engineer – AI / Application Security to join a high-impact cybersecurity engineering team focused on building modern security solutions at scale. This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, enabling secure-by-design practices across a global engineering environment.

You will lead the development of proof-of-concept and production-grade security capabilities, working across Python microservices, Kubernetes, GCP, and CI/CD environments. The role requires a strong engineering mindset, deep understanding of security tooling, and the ability to influence technical direction across distributed teams.
