Job summary

Seargin in Katowice seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain C++ firmware for industrial automation. You will contribute to feature development, debugging, and system design while collaborating with distributed teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.

You will lead code reviews, support CI/CD processes, and mentor peers in embedded development standards within an international, stable firm.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
5+ years of professional C++ development.
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
Practical knowledge of requirements analysis, software design and testing processes.
Knowledge of network protocols or RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks).
Fluent English at B2 level or higher for collaboration with international teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware components using C++ for industrial automation products.
Implement and validate features related to industrial communication and platform services.
Debug firmware and perform root-cause analysis of defects.
Develop unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD-based quality processes.
Participate in requirements analysis, software design and system architecture discussions.
Prepare software design documentation, conduct code reviews and support standards.
Participate in Agile/SAFe activities, mentor engineers and collaborate with distributed teams.
