Job summary

Kainos seeks a Lead Data Scientist for its Workday Products division to shape AI/ML solutions across the Workday suite. You will design and deliver production-grade AI/ML systems, including predictive analytics for workforce planning and anomaly detection in financial processes.

You will mentor a data science team, engage with customers, and provide strategic technical leadership across the organization. This role emphasizes people leadership and delivery excellence within a fast-growing product

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience, or a PhD with 4-5 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of advanced AI/ML solutions for the Workday product suite.
• Mentor and manage team members, conduct performance appraisals, and support career progression.
• Collaborate with customers and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop production-grade AI/ML pipelines with CI/CD, monitoring, and model versioning.
• Deliver interactive dashboards and visual analytics for stakeholders using tools like Plotly/Dash/Streamlit.
