Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for Google SecOps to own the technical vision, engineering standards, and delivery methodology for SecOps services and implementations.

You will act as the technical lead for complex SIEM, EDR and Threat Detection & Response programs, define reference architectures, onboarding frameworks, and reusable deployment patterns, and mentor engineers while collaborating with vendors and clients.

• Review and approve technical designs, implementation approaches and engineering deliverables produced by other team members.
• Mentor, coach and develop security engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Google SecOps-related challenges and strategic client engagements.
• Support recruitment, capability development and growth of the Google SecOps engineering team.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, internal stakeholders and clients to shape future service offerings.

Your future role

• Own the technical vision, engineering standards and delivery methodology for Google SecOps services and implementations.

• Experience building or scaling a Google SecOps practice or security engineering capability.
• Google Cloud, Google SecOps or other industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience working directly with Google or other strategic technology partners.
• Experience supporting presales activities, solution shaping and large-scale proposals.
• Experience defining engineering governance, technical standards and quality assurance processes.
• Experience managing or mentoring multiple engineers across several concurrent engagements.
