Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to own the technical vision and delivery for Google SecOps service lines. You will act as the technical lead for SIEM, EDR and Threat Detection & Response transformations, shaping architectures, onboarding frameworks and reusable deployment patterns.

You will mentor security engineers, review designs, and collaborate with vendors and clients to advance PwC’s SecOps offerings while supporting recruitment and capability growth within the team,

Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling a Google SecOps practice.
• Google Cloud or Google SecOps certifications.
• Experience with presales activities and large-scale proposals.
• Experience defining engineering governance, standards and QA processes.
• Experience mentoring multiple engineers across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, engineering standards and delivery methodology for Google SecOps services and implementations.
• Act as the technical lead for complex SIEM, EDR and TD&R transformation programs.
• Define reference architectures, onboarding frameworks and reusable deployment patterns.
• Lead complex Google SecOps implementations, migrations and managed services onboarding.
• Drive IaC, CI/CD and automation across security engineering teams.
• Review and approve designs and deliverables from team members.
• Mentor and develop security engineers through leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Google SecOps challenges.
• Support recruitment and growth of the Google SecOps engineering team.
• Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders and clients to shape future service offerings.

Our team helps business leaders protect and manage their risk related to information regarding technology, people, systems, processes, culture, and physical surroundings. We help clients’ understand their current capability and develop a plan to target cyber security investment, helping to respond to actual cyber incidents, and advising on legal issues related to breaches, data privacy, and protection.

Lead Cybersecurity Engineer – Google SecOps

Your future role

• Own the technical vision, engineering standards and delivery methodology for Google SecOps services and implementations.
• Act as the technical lead for complex SIEM, EDR and Threat Detection & Response transformation programs.
• Define reference architectures, onboarding frameworks, engineering accelerators and reusable deployment patterns.
• Lead complex Google SecOps implementation, migration and managed services onboarding projects.
• Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD and automation practices across security engineering teams.
• Review and approve technical designs, implementation approaches and engineering deliverables produced by other team members.
• Mentor, coach and develop security engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Google SecOps-related challenges and strategic client engagements.
• Support recruitment, capability development and growth of the Google SecOps engineering team.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, internal stakeholders and clients to shape future service offerings.

Nice to have

• Experience building or scaling a Google SecOps practice or security engineering capability.
• Google Cloud, Google SecOps or other industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience working directly with Google or other strategic technology partners.
• Experience supporting presales activities, solution shaping and large-scale proposals.
• Experience defining engineering governance, technical standards and quality assurance processes.
• Experience managing or mentoring multiple engineers across several concurrent engagements.
