Job summary

Wipro IT Services Poland Sp. z o.o. in Gdańsk is seeking an experienced Backup & Recovery Leader to manage a team providing 24x7 production support. You will handle incidents, plan recovery actions, and drive improvements across the backup infrastructure.

The role requires deep expertise with Cohesity, NetWorker and DataDomain, plus NetApp and Dell ECS knowledge. Hybrid work, with on-site collaboration several days weekly, is offered.

Qualifications

• Expertise in backup and recovery environments with enterprise tools.
• Experience with Cohesity, NetWorker and DataDomain in production.
• Knowledge of NetApp and Dell ECS storage concepts.
• Ability to plan, implement and document backup strategies.
• Strong problem solving and change management skills.
• Exposure to disaster recovery and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Backup & Recovery Administrators and provide 24x7 production support.
• Handle escalated incidents and critical tickets.
• Anticipate and predict risks/impact on production environment and handle major changes.
• Manage and report performance dashboards with capacity planning.
• Design, migration and upgradation of existing backup infrastructure.
• Create suggested target backup schedules and operational plans.
• Ensure all backup jobs are scheduled appropriately and expediently.
• Prepare backup reports from the existing tools.
• Agent installation and configuration of backups.
