Capgemini Polska Sp. z o.o. seeks a Backup Engineer to maintain and improve enterprise backup and recovery services built on Veeam and Dell PowerProtect Data Domain. You will help ensure data availability, security, and recoverability, leading recovery activities and driving service improvements.

You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver resilient backup solutions, develop automation scripts, and maintain technical documentation for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Dell PowerProtect) in large environments.
• Virtualization experience with VMware.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own and support enterprise backup and recovery services based on Veeam and Dell PowerProtect Data Domain.
• Ensure reliable backup operations through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of incidents.
• Lead backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities in line with objectives and security requirements.
• Optimize backup performance, resilience, automation, and processes to continuously improve service delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and customer stakeholders on backup solutions and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance on backup and recovery services.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Create and support automation scripts that enhance backup service operations.
