Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland invites a seasoned software engineer to build production-grade AI and GenAI solutions using Python, integrating with Java-based enterprise systems in Kraków.

You will design LLM-based capabilities, RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, ensure secure coding practices, and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and governance in a large-scale transformation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience building AI and GenAI solutions.
• Knowledge of LLM capabilities, limitations and safe usage patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions.
• Experience with agentic or tool-using AI workflows.
• Experience with prompt engineering, evaluation and validation approaches.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, traceability and auditability.
• Experience developing microservices and APIs.
• Previous commercial experience with Java and Java-based enterprise systems.
• Ability to understand, review and occasionally modify Java code.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Strong unit, integration and contract testing practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of REST, messaging and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience making pragmatic technical decisions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of secure software development and operational resilience.
