Job summary

You will design and implement scalable backend services in Node.js and contribute to microservices with Golang and Python, collaborating with German-speaking stakeholders to deliver robust data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development at a Senior Software Engineer level.
• Strong commercial experience with Node.js.
• Fluent German (C1/C2) – mandatory, with the ability to communicate confidently with business stakeholders and clients.
• Very good command of English.
• Experience working directly with clients, including requirements gathering and solution discussions.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and microservices.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design for scalable systems.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and developing REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive solutions from concept to delivery.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js as the primary stack.
• Contribute to microservices built with Golang and Python.
• Collaborate with German-speaking clients to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
