Akami? Actually Akamai is the company. Akamai is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead AI security transformation, providing technical advisory, architecture design, and implementation guidance for strategic customers in AI security and multi-cloud environments.

The role involves defining AI security architectures, assessing client environments, and advising on emerging technologies while collaborating with Global Services, Sales and Presales to deliver secure AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Have 8+ years of experience in security architecture, security consulting or security systems engineering, with direct customer delivery.
• Have in-depth knowledge of at least one area: application and API security, workload security, microsegmentation, IAM and multi-stack integration expertise
• Have hands-on experience building with LLM and agent systems: tool and function design, agent-to-tool protocols such as MCP, retrieval, and evaluation
• Have working knowledge of AI-specific risks, including prompt injection, tool abuse, identity sprawl, data exfiltration, and model supply chain risks.
• Demonstrate excellent written English, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and compelling reference architectures and customer-facing assessments for CISO-level audiences.
• Be willing to state uncertainty clearly and openly. This work is still evolving, and confident but incorrect answers can be costly.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving AI security architectures and standards covering agents, workloads, identities, runtime protection, and east-west containment.
• Assessing customer AI environments against security, regulatory, and risk requirements, clearly communicating coverage and confidence levels.
• Delivering security-focused consulting, architecture, and implementation guidance for complex AI and multi-cloud environments.
• Designing and evaluating controlled frontier AI use cases, measuring quality, efficiency, cost, and outcomes against existing approaches.
• Advising Global Services, Sales, Presales, and customers on AI security strategy, emerging technologies, and complex technical challenges.
