Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to set the technical direction for a squad, drive AI-powered product development, and deliver production-grade code across the full stack. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with platform teams, and ensure compliance with FCA-regulated financial services standards.

The role requires hands-on delivery of LLM-based solutions in production, architectural leadership, and strong English/Polish communication.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience as Technical Lead / Lead Software Engineer.
Hands-on delivery of LLM-based solutions in production, including RAG pipelines.
Experience building client-facing GenAI products deployed in production.
Deep expertise in Python or Node.js and familiarity with the other.
Experience owning architectural decisions and governance discussions.
Cloud-native development on AWS, with event-driven/serverless patterns.
Strong English and Polish communication skills (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

Set technical direction for the squad and own architectural decisions.
Design and deliver AI-powered features and production-grade code.
Drive adoption of AI coding tools across the SDLC and establish coding standards.
Deliver full-stack work across Node.js/Python, AWS, and React where needed.
Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and guide design docs.
Collaborate with platform teams to reuse capabilities and avoid ad-hoc solutions.
Ensure compliance-by-design and auditable software in regulated environments.
