Job summary
Pragmatike is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to own and scale cloud infrastructure across Debian/Ubuntu hosts. You will deploy and operate Kubernetes in production, manage full cluster lifecycles, and implement automated provisioning and GitOps practices.
You will work with complex networking, virtualization stacks (OpenStack/Proxmox/VMware), and on-call rotations across international teams in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Expert-level Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) administration.
- Deep networking knowledge for multi-site setups.
- Experience with automation tooling (Ansible, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with observability stacks and virtualization tech.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Linux infrastructure (Debian/Ubuntu).
- Deploy and scale Kubernetes across bare-metal, virtualization, and on‑prem.
- Oversee cluster lifecycle: upgrades, node pools, networking, storage, security.
- Implement automation for provisioning and ops (Ansible, Bash/Python, GitOps).
- Design networking architecture incl. VLANs, VPNs, multi-site connectivity.
- Develop SOPs and runbooks; manage on-call rotations across time zones.
- Maintain observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Graylog stacks.
