Job summary

Krones Poland invites applications for a field service engineer responsible for assembling and commissioning packaging lines and machines across Poland and Europe. You will diagnose issues, program control systems, and support installation projects at customer sites.

The role requires traveling domestically and internationally, strong PLC knowledge, English proficiency, and a willingness to work from customer sites with full equipment provided. A company car and extensive training are offered.

Qualifications

• Technical education in automation, mechatronics or electrical engineering is required.
• Experience servicing or commissioning machines.
• Good English for coordination with HQ in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission Krones machines and bottling lines in Poland and Europe.
• Overhaul machines and lines; diagnose and implement solutions.
• Program industrial control systems and machine communication networks.
• Coordinate field work at customer sites across Poland and Europe (≈80% of time).

What awaits you

Your responsibilities

• Assembly and commissioning of Krones machines and bottling lines in Poland and Europe
• Participation in the overhaul of Krones machines and lines
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and implementation of new solutions
• Programming of industrial control systems and communication between machines
• Commissioning of process control systems and networking systems for machines and plants
• Work with industrial networks: AS-Interface, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Ethernet, POWERLINK, CAN bus
• Work with frequency converters and servo drives: Danfoss FC, SEW MOVidrive/MOVIGEAR, B&R ACOPOS
• Ongoing cooperation and exchange of information with the technical department of the Krones headquarters in Germany
• Field work: service, commissioning and overhauls for customers in Poland (approx. 80% of the time) and in other European countries
• Occasional visits to the company's headquarters, without the need for regular commuting to the office
• Place of work: at customer sites throughout Poland and Europe | relocation is not required
• Home base: can be any location in Poland

Requirements

• Technical education in the field of automation, mechatronics or electrical engineering and experience in servicing or commissioning machines
• SEP E (operation) licenses up to 1 kV
• Experience working with Siemens systems (TIA Portal / S7)
• Practical knowledge of PLC control systems
• Good, communicative knowledge of English, enabling cooperation with the headquarters in Germany
• Category B driving licence
• Readiness for domestic and foreign trips
