Andersen, an international IT company, invites a Kotlin Multiplatform Developer (IoT & Mobile) to work on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM).
• Implementing real-time data exchange between mobile clients and devices via MQTT.
• Integrating Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, Messaging, and Crashlytics.
• Collaborating with backend and product teams to define and deliver new features.
• Ensuring high performance, code quality, and maintainability across Android and iOS.
• Writing unit and integration tests to support stable releases.

Requirements

• Experience in mobile application development for 4+ years, including experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) for 1.5+ years.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, and multiplatform architecture (shared logic, platform modules).
• Experience working with the MQTT protocol in IoT, telemetry, or real-time communication scenarios.
• Practical experience integrating Firebase services such as Firestore, Realtime Database, Analytics, and Cloud Messaging.
• Understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI patterns, and modular app design.
• Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and participating in code review workflows.
• Familiarity with both Android Studio and Xcode when working on shared projects.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with Compose Multiplatform or SwiftUI for UI development.
• Knowledge of WebSocket or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud deployment tools such as Firebase Functions or AWS Lambda.
• Understanding of IoT device integration and edge-to-cloud synchronization.
• Contributions to open-source Kotlin or KMM libraries.
