Job summary

BitPeak in Warsaw offers a hybrid/onsite DevOps or Support role focusing on cloud-based data platform work and DataOps principles. You will contribute to global multicloud projects, collaborate with a multinational team, and pursue certifications across Microsoft, AWS, Databricks, and ISTQB.

Flexible hours, medical care, and learning time are provided. You will develop skills in cloud architectures, SQL databases, scripting, and problem solving while working with a mentor and daily team

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written English communication.

The person in this role will work with project teams developing a modern data platform in a cloud environment. They will work in an international environment, with the focus on the architecture of cloud-based Big Data solutions and the latest technologies in that area, as well as promote the principals of the DataOps manifesto.

Responsibilities

• Gaining experience related to current project tasks
• Deepening the secrets of working with tickets
• Learning the principles of working with tasks assigned by the client
• Close cooperation with the mentor in everyday tasks
• Participation in daily team meetings to discuss current tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of SQLand any relational database (SQL Server, Oracle,PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Ability to analytical approach to undertaken tasks and problems
• Very good command of English, with a particular emphasis on written communication.
• Independence, efficiency in action and responsibility for assigned tasks
