Junior Subsea Hydraulic Design Engineer (Kraków)

Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a Junior Design Engineer for the Krakow Engineering Center to work on hydraulic designs for subsea products, from 3D design to drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.

You will support senior engineers, independently handle less complex designs, and contribute to design reviews while learning subsea engineering practices. The role requires English communication and occasional travel, with a preference for NX and Teamcenter experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles is preferred.
• Knowledge of P&ID schematics and ability to read hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to create, read and interpret technical drawings per ISO GPS and ASME GD&T.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software; NX experience beneficial.
• Familiarity with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter, is advantageous.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding or fabrication.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain hydraulic design documentation, including 3D models, drawings, hydraulic schematics, BOMs and manufacturing docs.
• Support experienced engineers in design and documentation for more complex products and projects.
• Independently perform design activities for less complex products with quality and timely delivery.
• Prepare and update engineering docs per standards and project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and implement technical updates and improvements.
• Assist manufacturing in resolving design and fabrication issues under guidance.
• Develop knowledge of subsea products, engineering processes and manufacturing practices.
• Cooperate with project teams, manufacturing and other TechnipFMC locations.
