Job summary
TechnipFMC plc in Krakow is seeking a Junior Product Engineer - Hydraulic Components to support development and maintenance of hydraulic components used in subsea products. You will work with experienced engineers and suppliers to ensure robust, standardized component solutions and compliant technical documentation.
The role involves creating drawings, specifications, and records, supporting internal standards, participating in design reviews, and resolving component-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- No prior experience required; manufacturing/engineering background a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings per ISO GPS and ASME GD&T.
- Good communication and teamwork; willing to travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of technical documentation for hydraulic components, including drawings, 3D models, specifications and engineering records.
- Support maintenance and implementation of internal engineering standards and specifications for hydraulic components.
- Communicate with suppliers on day-to-day technical matters with support from experienced engineers.
- Participate in project design reviews and support resolution of component-related technical questions.
- Support manufacturing and workshops in investigating and resolving component-related manufacturing, assembly and installation issues.
- Assist with component obsolescence activities and implementation of approved alternative solutions.
