Job summary

AFRY is seeking a structural engineer to join our Water & Environment team in Poland. You will contribute to the design of wastewater treatment facilities, perform basic sizing, and collaborate with BIM modelers and engineers across disciplines.

We value 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong English, and knowledge of BIM tools (OpenBIM, REVIT, TEKLA). Hybrid work and multiple Polish office locations are available.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong team player with multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Good English skills at B2-C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Design civil works structures (tanks, basins, pumping stations) for wastewater plants.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and BIM teams.
• Perform basic sizing and information gathering from equipment and systems to fit design.
• Follow design stages per Swiss SIA or German HOAI with BIM integration.
• Participate in meetings and report to Project Managers.
