Job summary

Commerzbank Digital Technology Centre Poland is offering a nine‑month internship for a Junior Software Developer (Fullstack) in Łódź. The role focuses on building risk screening tools using Java, React JS, and related tech.

You will develop, test, and document software, participate in code reviews, and contribute to ongoing modernization efforts within an Agile team. Hybrid work in Łódź with mentorship and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience with JPA, REST and React JS is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of relational databases.
• Willingness to learn CI/CD practices and version control with GIT.
• Familiarity with Kanban or Scrum is a plus.

TalentBank is an original internship program of the Digital Technology Centre in Poland, which aim is to enable students and graduates to gain professional experience in IT / banking industry. The project can be attended by people who are students or graduates (up to 12 months after graduation). We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

Join our team as a(n) Junior Software Developer (Fullstack) Intern!

Our main technologies are Java, React JS, MS Azure, Oracle, PostgreSQL. Our goal is to build accurate and efficient risk screening tools and processes for various industries and segments, create customer-oriented transition process of engagements, while simultaneously ensuring a risk adequate and cost-efficient loan process.

The Full Stack Developer implements and maintains software based on business requirements or incidents and does optimizations and performance tasks. He/she designs, plans and implements java applications depending on bank standard architectures and business requirements.
