Job summary

Accelleron in Poland is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support marine engines and related systems. You will perform service tasks, installations, maintenance and repairs on-site or remotely, aiming to meet customer expectations with quality and safety.

The role requires technical education, experience with engines, willingness to travel up to 50%, and fluency in English and Polish. A driving license (B) is essential, and you will join an international team committed to excellence

Qualifications

• Technical education with strong mechanical understanding.

• Valid driving license category B.

Responsibilities

• Performs service tasks and analyzes issues during on-site or remote service.
• Maintains good customer relationships and identifies needs.
• Coordinates materials and ensures availability for service activities.
• Documents work and signs off with the customer.
• Troubleshoots and proposes corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Suggests product and process improvements within Accelleron.
• Adheres to safety rules and environmental responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Service Delivery-Performs Service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in any Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.,)
• Customer Approach-Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
• Materials & Supply-Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.
• Documents & Reports-Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
• Troubleshooting-Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Operational Excellence-Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the Accelleron organization Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
• Health, Safety and Integrity-Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Your Background

• Technical education and good mechanical understanding;
• Hands-on work experience with engines and tools. Preferably have experience from working with bigger engines and/or related mechanical technologies in the marine segment.
• Service-minded, flexible and team player.
• A flexible mindset towards work outside normal office hours able to perform under pressure
• Willingness to travel and to be in field service jobs up to 50% of the working hours
• Basic computer skills
• Good level of English language and Polish, both written and oral
• A valid driving license category ''B''
