Accelleron Nordics Oy Sp. z o.o. Oddział w Polsce is seeking a Junior Service Engineer for its Service Station in Gdansk. You will perform repairs and overhauls of Accelleron turbochargers and support service delivery to customers.

The role requires basic engine knowledge, hands-on mechanical skills, and willingness to travel up to 50% of work time. Strong English and Polish communication abilities are needed, along with safety-consciousness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical education and good mechanical understanding.
• Hands-on work experience with engines and tools.
• Experience with larger engines or marine mechanical tech is a plus.
• Service-minded, flexible and team player.
• Willingness to travel and field service up to 50% of hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs service tasks and analyzes issues on turbochargers.
• Maintains good customer relations and identifies service opportunities.
• Prepares and signs off service documentation and reports.
• Coordinates material availability for service activities.
• Troubleshoots equipment failures and recommends improvements.

We are looking for a Junior Service Engineer for our Service Station in Gdansk. The employee will be responsible for repairs and overhauls of Accelleron turbochargers.

Responsibilities

• Service Delivery: Performs service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on‑site activity in any service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
• Customer Approach: Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation; creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs; identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally.
• Materials & Supply: Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.
• Documents & Reports: Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative; reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
• Troubleshooting: Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions; troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Operational Excellence: Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the Accelleron organization; provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
• Health, Safety and Integrity: Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities; reports unsafe practices and incidents.

Qualifications

• Technical education and good mechanical understanding.
• Hands‑on work experience with engines and tools.
• Preferably have experience from working with bigger engines and/or related mechanical technologies in the marine segment.
• Service‑minded, flexible and team player.
• Flexible mindset towards work outside normal office hours, able to perform under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and to be in field service jobs up to 50% of the working hours.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good level of English language and Polish, both written and oral.
• A valid driving license category ‘’B’.’
