Job summary

State Street in Kraków is seeking a Junior Security Engineer to join Platform Security Solutions. The role focuses on expanding patching and vulnerability remediation through automation and orchestration, becoming a hands-on SME for Windows patch automation platforms and securing 25,000+ servers across hybrid landing zones.

You will collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders in multiple time zones, support and maintain both on‑prem and cloud infrastructure, and help the bank stay ahead

Qualifications

1-3 years in Windows admin/security roles.
Basic Windows Server troubleshooting.
Basic scripting (PowerShell or Python).
Experience with Jira or ServiceNow.
Ability to read and create technical documentation.
Experience coordinating with stakeholders across time zones.

Responsibilities

Support and maintain on-prem and cloud infrastructure for our products.
Interact with internal customers to ensure cyber resilience and user-friendly banking.
Assist with patching and vulnerability remediation through automation.
Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones in a rapidly changing environment.
