Phoenix Contact in Poland is seeking a network engineer to design, implement and manage WAN, LAN, WLAN, and security fabrics. You will diagnose incidents, implement routing and VPN solutions, and coordinate service providers.

You will maintain firewall rules, NAC policies, monitor networks, perform root-cause analyses, create designs and documentation, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Competenze

• Relevant IT education, training or equivalent practical expertise.
• Experience in networking, firewall administration or related infra role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, WLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience administering enterprise firewalls and network access control.
• Experience with monitoring and incident, problem and change management.
• Ability to create technical designs, implementation and rollback plans.
• Independent, methodical problem-solving and risk judgment.
• Clear technical English communication across teams and stakeholders.

Mansioni

• WAN operations: Diagnose and resolve WAN / VPN links incidents; configure approved routing and WAN solutions; coordinate service provider troubleshooting
• LAN, WLAN and routing: Design and implement standard LAN, WLAN, switching, routing and redundancy solutions within approved patterns, while managing firmware, configuration baselines and production changes
• Firewall, network security and NAC: Administer firewall rules, VPNs and NAC policies; resolve authentication, segmentation and access-control issues; support vulnerability remediation and configuration hardening
• Incident and problem management: Resolve incidents, perform structured root-cause analysis and implement approved preventive actions
• Lifecycle, capacity and resilience: Maintain lifecycle, capacity and obsolescence information; coordinate upgrades, replacements, failover tests and resilience improvements; provide technical input to budget and renewal planning
• Projects, documentation and knowledge sharing: Deliver technical work packages, prepare designs, diagrams, implementation and handover documentation
