Job summary

GlobalLogic is expanding its Kraków technology hub to develop cutting-edge software and next-generation vehicle infotainment systems. You will remove legacy code and align CI solutions across infotype generations while migrating infrastructure from Azure to GCP.

Develop and maintain Python-based automation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable releases. Hybrid/onsite position with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong Python: proven experience as a Software/Automation Engineer (maintainable, OOP, testing).
• CI/CD & Pipeline Automation; Git, Gerrit.

Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, headquartered in Sweden and renowned for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and modern mobility solutions. You will be joining their dynamic technology hub in Krakow, focused on developing cutting-edge software and next-generation vehicle infotainment systems.

The main goal of this Role is to remove legacy code and align CI solutions between different generations of Infotainment products to simplify maintenance by reducing technical debt in CI pipelines. The project involves a system migration from Azure to GCP, infrastructure maintenance, and setting up virtual machines.

Requirements

Main skill set:

• Strong Python: Proven experience as a Software/Automation Engineer (building structured, maintainable code, OOP, testing), rather than basic scripting.
• CI/CD & Pipeline Automation.
  Git, Gerrit.
• Technical engineering degree (Preferably in the domain of software or systems engineering)
• Strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and planning skills

Would be a plus:

• Airflow
• Jenkins

• Docker, Kubernetes
• Cloud Computing (GCP preferred, Azure, AWS)
• NoSQL DB (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, etc.)
• Know the basics of automotive (or similar) functional safety standards (ISO26262)
• Know the basics of any industry standard that provides a framework for defining, implementing, and evaluating the process required for system development (in automotive - ASPICE)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain internal automation frameworks, scripts, and software tools primarily written in Python.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to integrate cloud services (GCP/Azure) and containerized applications into CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor and analyze CI pipeline performance, implementing improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance fault tolerance.
• Implement and maintain robust Jenkins pipelines, optimizing build, test, and deployment stages for faster and more dependable release cycles.
• Participate in code modernization and system optimization initiatives to streamline performance, improve maintainability, and support future scalability.
• Contribute to elevating code quality and infrastructure efficiency by introducing automation, standardizing configurations, and applying best software engineering practices across infrastructure and codebases
