Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for a complex healthcare device that blends embedded hardware, software, and user-facing applications.

You will create test scenarios from requirements, work with real hardware and simulators, and support system, integration, and functional testing in a regulated medical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• Proficient with Python and hands-on test automation experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and design techniques.
• Experience with system and/or integration testing.
• Experience testing hardware-interfacing systems.
• Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Git and defect tracking systems.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and system behavior.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join a team developing and testing an advanced healthcare medical device that combines embedded hardware, software, and user-facing applications.

The project involves a complex hardware-software system used in a regulated medical environment. The main focus of this role is developing and maintaining automated tests using a custom Python-based test automation framework, as well as supporting system and integration testing of the device.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
