Job summary

Wolf Theiss in Warsaw is seeking a motivated Litigation (Junior) Associate to join our Warsaw office. You will prepare and review pleadings, conduct legal research, and assist in case strategy under Polish and EU law, while supporting hearings with senior attorneys.

The role requires a law degree from a Polish university and excellent Polish and English language skills. Bar apprenticeship (1st year) welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduated in law from a Polish university.
• Bar apprenticeship (1st year) welcome but not required.
• Excellent command of Polish and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, analytical, teamwork and logical thinking skills.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review court pleadings, motions, statements of claim, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on civil, commercial, and regulatory disputes under Polish and EU law.
• Assist in case strategy development, including assessing evidence and proposing procedural steps.
• Support senior lawyers during hearings, meetings, and settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and clients.
• Coordinate evidence collection, witness interviews, document reviews, and preparing exhibits for court proceedings.
• Monitor deadlines, court schedules, and procedural requirements to ensure compliance.
• Prepare case reports, summaries, and updates for internal teams and clients.
