Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an IT professional to provide daily manufacturing plant support and to maintain and develop applications for manufacturing systems, including MES. The role combines operational IT support with project participation across the plant.

Ideal candidates will have IT education, strong English/Polish skills, knowledge of databases, networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, and programming. SAP, Power BI, and SQL Server experience are a plus.

• Higher education in Information Technology (or related fields).
• Very good command of English and Polish, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge in various IT fields such as databases, networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence.
• Programming skills.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, and to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Daily support for the manufacturing plant along with the local IT department.
• Maintenance and development of applications supporting manufacturing systems.
• Support for MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Analysis and troubleshooting of errors occurring in IT systems.
• Resolving current issues related to devices and applications in IT areas.
• Providing services in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
• Seeking improvements to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Creating technical documentation and IT procedures.
• Participation in projects.
