Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Junior Inventory Analyst in Warsaw to define optimal FG, semi-finished, and raw materials levels, balancing demand variability and supplier lead times. You will work with cross-functional planners to optimize inventories and costs across the supply chain.

You will analyze inventory trends, provide regular reports, and implement risk management strategies to sustain product availability and minimize holding costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or Economics.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning and trade-offs between service level and cost.
• 2+ years in supply planning and inventory management within a multinational environment.
• Expertise in inventory optimization, replenishment strategies, and control techniques.
• Ability to interact and influence internal stakeholders with integrity.
• Knowledge of data management and business intelligence tools; data analysis and modelling.
• Fluent Business English; university degree; strong analytical skills; initiative.

Responsibilities

• Define inventory strategy in collaboration with concurrent planners and Category DSP managers.
• Establish and share optimal inventory levels for FG, Semi-Finished Goods, and Raw & Pack materials, considering demand variability and supplier lead time fluctuations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce inventory holding costs through optimized storage, transportation, and order quantity strategies.
• Segment portfolio and manage high-value items rigorously.
• Provide regular reports and analysis on inventory trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with planners to balance inventories, lead times, capacity, and cost decisions.
• Develop and implement inventory risk management strategies to mitigate supply.
